The aim of this course is to teach what is the concept of talent management, how talent management will be implemented in hospitality businesses, what are the advantages and disadvantages of talent management.
The aim of this course is to teach students the concept of talent management, how to apply it in hospitality organizations and the advantages and disadvantages of talent management. Talent management is the process of attracting, developing, motivating and retaining the talented employees that a business needs. This process plays a critical role in increasing the competitiveness of the business. Talent management in hospitality organizations is implemented through talent acquisition, talent development, performance management, career development and talent retention strategies. Talent acquisition includes the selection and recruitment of qualified personnel. Talent development includes training programs, mentoring and coaching activities. Performance management includes performance evaluation systems and feedback mechanisms. Career development aims to create career paths and offer promotion opportunities to employees. Talent retention is achieved through policies that increase employee loyalty and reward systems. The advantages of talent management include competitive advantage, business efficiency, employee engagement, innovation and strengthening the employer brand. Talented employees strengthen an organization's position in the market, work more efficiently and effectively, have the potential to develop creative and innovative solutions, and make the organization perceived as an attractive employer.
