Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to equip the students with the Professional English required in Hospitality Industry and the first level of CEFR B1+.

Course Content

The course follows an integrated approach in terms of language skills (Reading, writing, listening, speaking) and its modular nature that will be used in Hospitality Industry on daily basis. It also focuses on the knowledge of necessary vocabulary and expressions at B1+ level.

Working in travel and tourism, being friendly and helpful

Dealing with enquiries, cross-cultural issues in tourism industry
Week 4 - Theoretical
Different ways of travelling, asking questions
Week 5 - Theoretical
Taking a booking, transportation, countries and nationalities,
Week 6 - Theoretical
Air travel, organising a trip, telephone conversations at the hotel,
Week 7 - Theoretical
Giving information to the guest answering inquiries

Taking messages, breakfast at a hotel

Explaining dishes, taking order at a restaurant

Drinks, snacks and desserts, eating habits
