The objective of this course is to awaken students' curiosity of research and to get the students to adopt and embed the logic of doing scientific research.

The characteristics of science, scientific method and its characteristics, the basic concepts related to scientific method; The types and characteristics of scientific research; scientific research process, data gathering methods in scientific research, measurement and scales in scientific research, reliability and validity, ethical problems in scientific research, phases of scientific research, the style and content of scientific research report ,the use of quotation in scientific research.
