Programme Outcomes
1.Has knowledge of basic concepts and theories related to tourism and tourism management and field-specific research methods.
2.Has knowledge about the tourism sector and its sub-business branches (accommodation, food and beverage, transportation, recreation, travel businesses) and the universal and social effects of tourism management practices in the world and in Turkey.
3.Gains knowledge about local, national and international organizations related to tourism and their relations with each other, policies and strategies, legal regulations, professional standards and practices.
4.Using the knowledge he has learned in the field of tourism management, he can organize, manage projects, carry out and supervise workplace practices; Can improve service processes when necessary.
5.He/she follows current developments in tourism management, analyzes and interprets them, and contributes to his personal development by making inferences for himself.
6.Has the ability to effectively use computer software (front office automation, reservation, ticketing and sales, etc.) and information technologies used in tourism businesses.
7.Conducts research for the solution of problems in the field of tourism management and for the development of the profession and presents them in a clear and understandable way.
8.Able to effectively take responsibility both independently and as a team member, manage the team and communicate with experts in other fields.
9.Contributes to the professional development of employees under its responsibility through individual and team evaluation, and finds solutions by taking initiative in case of crisis.

11.To be able to communicate effectively with guests in written, verbal, non-verbal and visual ways and to demonstrate presentation skills while practicing his/her profession.
12.Knows and uses a foreign language related to the field at level B2 (“European Language Portfolio Global Scale”, Level B2).
13.Knows and uses a second foreign language related to the field at level B1 (“European Language Portfolio Global Scale”, Level B1).
14.Applies national and international legal regulations and professional standards related to tourism management; acts with a sense of responsibility by adhering to social, scientific, cultural values and global tourism ethical codes.
15.Within the scope of ensuring the health and safety of guests, provides the necessary equipment and equipment by making relevant warnings and directions in appropriate areas within the business.
