- To teach the structure, function and basic principles of immunology - Having knowledge about developed immunologic reactions in pets in various cases (diseases and vaccination) - To teach the usage of serological tests in order to diagnose the diseases and vaccine immunology
Basic principles and definitions in immunology, immune system (myeloid and lymphoid serial) cells and tissues, immuneglobulins, humoral and cellular response, immunological tolerance, antigenic structure of microorganisms, hypersensitivity reactions.

| 1. | To be able to comprehend the basic structure of immune system and its importance in immune response |
| 2. | To be able to understand basic functions of humoral immunity and its role in body defence |

| 4. | To be able to grasp the immune reactions and its results in disease cases for domestic animals |
| 5. | To be able to undertsand the basic principles of abnormal reactions like hyper sensitivity and autoimmune reactions and knows the importance of these situation in diseases |
