Objectives of the Course

a- To give information about mechanism of disease and the reactions of organism against diseases b- To give information about the disease-causing reasons on the basis of the etiology c- To give information about basic disease information

Course Content

Homeostasis, Cell degeneration, Cell response, adaptation and regeneration, genetic diseases, host and pathogen interaction, gastrointestinal tract diseases, respiratory tract diseases, Cardiovaskular tract diseases, Muscle Diseases, Reproductive tract diseases, Central nervous tract diseases, Liver diseases, Endocrine tract diseases, Pathophysiology of the toxic diseases

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to grasp etiology ( concept of diseases,causes of diseases,physical ,chemical,toxic,infetious, immunulogy)
2.To be able to grasp lesions
3.To be able to comprehend the pathophysiological mechanism of diseases
4.To be able to express the pathogenesis of the diseases
5.To be able to describe pathogenesis of cell and tissue response against injuries
6.To be able to comprehend the mechanism of immune response against diseases
7.To be able to understand the mechanism of oncogenesis
8.To be able to grasp circular system disorders and the mechanism of the vessel disorders
9.To be able to understand regeneration mechanism
10.To be able to express changes within the cell related to disorders
11.Recognise suspicious signs of possible notifiable, reportable and zoonotic diseases and take appropriate action, including notifying the relevant authorities
