Week 1 - Theoretical & Practice

Principles of preoperative preparation and ruminant surgery

Week 2 - Theoretical & Practice

Anesthesia, fluid-electrolyte therapy in ruminant surgery

Week 3 - Theoretical & Practice

Head surgery (repair of eyelid wounds, bulbus oculi extirpation, eye operations) sinus trepanation, dehorning and cornuectomy, nose ring fitting, nasal wound repair

Week 4 - Theoretical & Practice

Treatment of dental diseases, oral lacerations, tongue sores, self-absorption

Week 5 - Theoretical & Practice

neck surgery (pharynx, esophagus and trachea), esophagotomy, tracheotomy operation techniques

Week 6 - Theoretical & Practice

Umbilical lesions and hernias

Week 7 - Theoretical & Practice

Laparotomy, rumenotomy, rumenocentesis in small and large ruminants, rumen fistula and cannulation techniques and other organ surgery diseases (intestinal injury, volvulus, torsion)

Week 8 - Theoretical

Techniques for operative correction of abomasum left or right dilatation and displacements, exam

Week 9 - Theoretical & Practice

Treatment of abomasal ulcers and fistulas, cecum dilatation and dislocation treatment, typhlotomy (Typhlotomy), cecum amputation

Atresia coli and other intestinal anomalies

Castration methods, urolithiasis and its operative treatment (urethrotomy, urethrostomy)
