Objectives of the Course

Teaching information on breeding, feeding, disease prevention/control, fertility, milk production health, foot health and their sustainability, and animal monitoring systems within the scope of a healthy herd.

Learning Outcomes
1.Students; knows the basic principles of herd health management and can make proper planning.
2.Knows feeding techniques for healthy herd.
3.Makes proper plans for biosecurity, vaccination programs, parasitic control, and disease control in livestock enterprises.
4.Be able to plan reproductive health follow-up and controls in dairy cattle and udder health control programs in milk production.
5.Knows herd monitoring systems in dairy cattle.
6.Knows the observation and control procedures about foot health in cattle farms.
