Objectives of the Course

To teach injection technics, bleeding control, medical derssing, bandage anda tele applications, laparotomy technics and approaching to mass lessions Preparing of students in the field of obstetrics and gynecology with special examination technics together with clinic and labratory findings in different animals Preparing of students in the field of internal medicine with special examination technics together with clinic and labratory findings in different animals

Learning Outcomes

1.	To be able to administer different injection techniques
2.	To be able to block bleeding
3.	To be able to make medical dressing
4.	To be able to treat laparatomy, abses, hematoma, tumor, hernia, collection and ect.
5.	To be able to apply general and special gynecological examination technics in different animal species
6.	To be able to apply general and special l examination techniques in diseases of different animal species
7.	To be able to make examinations according to animal species
8.	To be able to apply different examination techniques and to diagnose by commenting together all
9.	To be able to make differential dignose using with labaratory findings and clinic signs

Weekly Detailed Course Contents

Week 1 - Practice

Biosecurity practices and injection techniques (Epidural, subarachnoideal, extent of nerve, intraperitoneal, sublingual, subkoncuktival, intratesticuler)

Week 2 - Practice

Bleeding and stoppage of bleeding (mechanical, chemical)

Week 3 - Practice

Dressings, bandages and splints applications

Week 4 - Practice

Laparotomi techniques

Week 5 - Practice

The opening of the mass lesions, drainage, removal

Week 6 - Practice

Gynecological evaluation of referred animals and performing necessary requested aplication of student examination table (anamnesis, inspection, palpation, injection, probing)

Week 7 - Practice

Gynecological evaluation of referred animals and performing necessary requested aplication of student examination table (body temperature control, inspection of the genital organs)

Week 8 - Practice

Gynecological evaluation of referred animals and performing necessary requested aplication of student examination table(examination of the breast and the lymph system, vaginoskopi, vaginal cytology, visual diagnostic methods, etc)

Week 9 - Practice

Gynecological evaluation of referred animals and performing necessary requested aplication of student examination table (operation techniques)

Week 10 - Practice

Gynecological evaluation of referred animals and performing necessary requested aplication of student examination table (large animal rectal examination and mammary examination)

Week 11 - Practice

Systemic evaluation of referred animals and performing necessary requested aplication of student examination table (habitus, anamnesis, inspection, palpation, auscultation, percussion, probing, smell)

Week 12 - Practice

Systemic evaluation of referred animals and performing necessary requested aplication of student examination table (Special Inspection Methods: microscopic examination, diagnostic surgery, endoscopy, video, diagnostic methods, etc.).

Week 13 - Practice

Systemic evaluation of referred animals and performing necessary requested aplication of student examination table (body temperature control, examination of the lymph system, visible mucous membranes of the examination,Skin examination: hair cloth, skin color, moisture, odor and elasticity of the skin lesions: itching, swelling, edema, emphysema, tissue loss-sores, dermatitis)

Week 14 - Practice

Systemic evaluation of referred animals and performing necessary requested aplication of student examination table(Examination of the respiratory system: pharynx, larynx, trachea, lungs, pleural cavity examination, pulse rate, heart auscultation, percussion, Veins control, reflexes check)
