Objectives of the Course

To teach the students variable and heredity events of creatures, mechanisms effected in the occurence of these events, how the characteristics of creatures transfer from generation to generation. To teach the construction of genetic matter, gene and chromosomes, the relationship between gene, mechanisms of hereditary problem and diseases, hereditary problems and diseases of livestock animals, mutations.

Course Content

Genetic matter, the construction and functions of DNA. Morphological construction of chromosomes, Gene types and inheritance of these, Interactions between allel genes, mutations, hereditary problem and disease of livestock animals.
