Objectives of the Course

1. To teach the holding-restraining methods for clinical examination in different species of animals 2.To teach to learn and record the anamnesis information of individual or group animals accurately and completely. 3. To teach the general and special examination techniques and system examinations, and also to gain knowledge and skills for interpreting the clinical and laboratory examination findings together. 4. To prepare the students to clinical courses related with surgery.

The aim of the course content and the the presentation of referrence books.. History of Veterinary Surgery,an aspect of Veterinary Clinics, Veterinary Duties and importance of clinical diagnosis

Holding and restraining methods for cattle and horse
Week 3 - Theoretical
Holding and restraining methods for cat, dog, Avian and Exotic animals)
Week 4 - Theoretical
Clinical Findings (Local,general, typical and patognomic symptome, sypmtome and syndrome)
Week 5 - Theoretical
Diagnosis,Prognosis,Treatment and Postoperative Patient Care
Week 6 - Theoretical
History, questions while taking history and their importance

General health status of patients (Signalament,Habitus)

Examination Methods (inspection,palpation), Midterm exam

Examination Methods (inspection,palpation, rectal examination, percuation, auscultation)

Examination Methods (Catheter, smelling, measurement, experimental punction, operation, local anasthesia, intraarticular and infiltration injections)
