- Bacterial and mycotic diseases of companion animals other than poultry, especially the epidemiology of these diseases - Sample collection, selection of appropriate laboratory diagnostic tests, interpretation and understanding of test results - Control and vaccination of bacterial and mycotic diseases, and training of students with knowledge on the control of zoonotic diseases - Taking appropriate measures, including recognizing the notifiable, registering and suspicious symptoms of zoonotic diseases and informing the relevant authorities

| 1. | To be able to comprehend bacteria that cause diseases in domestic animals and identify the colony and singular morphologic properties of these bacteria |
| 2. | To be able to identify the transmission and pathogenesis of the bacteria |
| 3. | T be able to know and apply the subjects of collecting, storing and transporting samples for diagnosis in bacterial infections, selecting appropriate diagnostic tests, interpreting and understanding test results. |
