Objectives of the Course

1. To teach identification of the genus and species of parasite protozoans in domestic animals and human worldwide and Turkey 2. To teach clinical, laboratory and necropsy findings of the important protozoans diseases 3. To teach prognosis and to choose correct drugs for protozoan diseases 4. To teach prevention and control techniques in epidemic diseases

Course Content

Systematic, morphology, diseases, diagnosis, treatment and prevention techniques and control programs of protozoans that causes diseases in domestic animals and human.

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to identify the genus and species of parasite protozoans in domestic animals and human worldwide and Turkey
2.To be able to grasp clinical, laboratory and necropsy findings of the important protozoans diseases
3.To be able to comprehend prognosis and choosing correct drugs for protozoan diseases
4.To be able to apply prevention and control techniques in epidemic diseases
5.To be able to make information based comment on the zoonotic protozoans and can take preventive measures for public health
