Objectives of the Course

Pathogenesis of disease’s (etiology and morphopathogenesis) and morphologic findings, diagnosis and differential diagnosis

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to describe pathologic findings of Nervous System diseases
2.To be able to apply differential diagnosis of Nervous System Diseases
3.To be able to describe pathologic findings of Urinary System diseases
4.To be able to apply differential diagnosis of Urinary System Diseases
5.To be able to describe pathologic findings of Hemopoietic and Cardiovascular System diseases
6.To be able to apply differential diagnosis of Hemopoietic and Cardiovascular System Diseases
7.To be able to describe pathologic findings of Genital and Mammary System diseases
8.To be able to apply differential diagnosis of Genital and Mammary System diseases
9.To be able to describe pathologic findings of Skin diseases
10.To be able to apply differential diagnosis of Skin diseases
11.Advise on, and implement, preventative programmes appropriate to the species and in line with accepted animal health, welfare and public health standards
12.Recognise suspicious signs of possible notifiable, reportable and zoonotic diseases and take appropriate action, including notifying the relevant authorities
13.Collect, preserve and transport samples, select appropriate diagnostic tests, interpret and understand the limitations of the test results
14.Be able to review and evaluate literature and presentations critically
15.Demonstrate ability to cope with incomplete information, deal with contingencies, and adapt to change.
