Objectives of the Course

1- To teach gastrointestinal, respiratory, vascular, urinary, endocrine and nervous system signs in foals. 2- To obtain necessary theorical knowledge on gastrointestinal, respiratory, vascular, urinary, endocrine and nervous system signs in horsesand foals.

1.To be able to comprehend significant diseases of equine relevant systems.
2.To be able to grasp differential diagnostic gaining of those diseases clinical and laboratory signs
3.To be able to practise suitable and real therapy applications
4.To be able to define preventive measures for profilactic applications.
5. Recognizes obligatory diseases and applies quarantine procedures.

Gastrointestinal diseases,: Acut and chronic enteritis, malabsorption syndrome

Specific foal diseases: İmmunodeficiency syndrome in the foal, neonatal septicemia, diarrhea, liver disease, neonatal isoerythrolysis, Gourm, equine infectious anemia, influenza, malleus, Rhodococcus equi
