Objectives of the Course

To give the personality and mission and notion of physician to the veterinary candidate students who are about to complete their education. For this purpose; to teach the concepts of deontology, ethics and legislation, to be able to read general and special situations, to overcome such problems and to gain analysis.

Course Content

What is deontology and ethics? What are the differences? In what situations do people comply with laws, apply deontological rules, and act ethically? What about the triangle of necessities? Is it possible to suppress certain emotions that exist in human nature by education and to educate principled people who comply with the laws and exhibit ethical behaviors? So, what is the notion and mission imposed on the physician?

1.To be able to comprehend the culture of profession and how to be a good and an example vet
2.To be able to obtain the knowledge about deontology and ethics rules .
3.To be able to interpret the laws, bye-law, regulations, bye law and instructions about the work and the work area.
4.To be able to name the rules written while performing the job.
5.To be able to grasp the importance when an examination place , clinic , policlinic etc is set up
6.To be able to Interpret the events experienced when an examination place , clinic , policlinic etc. is set up
7.To be able to comprehend how to behave workmates and personnel who work in the field and the relation between the professions.
8.To be able to list the organizations, unities and societies about health.
9.To be able to describe the academic and professional profile
10.To be able to evaluate the knowledge and health conditions of the profession of veterinary in the past and today.
