Objectives of the Course

To give information about the basic principles of fluid mechanics, mass, momentum, and energy balances, and their applications.

Course Content

Properties of fluids, introduction to fluid statics and momentum transfer, overview of fluid motion, mass, energy, and momentum balances, in pipes, friction losses, dimensional analysis, flow measurement, and transporting devices.
