Objectives of the Course

Preparing new students to the Mechanical Engineering Department for the courses they will be taking and giving general information about Mechanical Engineering.

Course Content

History of mechanical engineering, fields of interest, general description of mechanical engineering department, definition of mechanical engineering, scope, introduction of fields of study, introduction of the content of mechanical engineering education, branches of science, laboratories and workshops, introduction of the departments, introduction of Aydın MMO, importance of internship, factories trip-observations.
