Objectives of the Course

This course provides the students with engineering analysis skills using computer;linear and non-linear structural analyses, linear and non-linear thermal analyses, coupled field analyses.

Course Content

Numerical solution technique, Finite element method, Building the model in one, two and three dimensions, Element types, real constants, Material properties, Mesh generation, Solution, Review the results, Sample problems with ANSYS software: Structural analyses, Thermal Analyses and Couple field analyses.
