Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is teaching renewable energy sources - solar, wind, hydro, and wave energy. It has been an essential part of engineering curricula in last years all over the world. A systematic approach to problem solving for energy systems will also be provided.

Course Content

Solar energy, Wind energy, hydraulic energy and water resources, Wave energy and biological fuels as a primary energy resource to convert in electrical energy or for heat generating. In this context the application techniques and the calculating methods will be learned.

2.To obtain information about the energy and nature
3.To learn structure of the atmosphere.
4.To learn fossil energy sources and air pollution caused by fossil energy sources; environmental problems caused by energy sources.
5.To recognize renewable energy sources, types and application field of renewable energy sources.
