Objectives of the Course

Providing perspective over geotechnical aspects and regarding design in various civil engineering applications.

Course Content

Soil Characterization, design of shallow foundations, design of foundations over swelling and collapsing (problematic) soils, design of pile foundations, design of retaining structures, design of preloading and vertical drains.
