2.Understanding the importance of statistics for civil engineering and applications of statistical methods in different areas of civil engineering
3.Learning probability and distribution functions
4.Calculating the statistics obtained from the sample, gaining the ability to determine confidence intervals using proper methods
5.To gain the ability to perform hypothesis testing
