To teach the fundamental concepts about surveying of structures and surveying of lands which are significantly important of civil engineering.
Information about the tools of surveying. Teaching the surveying procedure which contains projects, documents and maps.

| 1. | Knowing the measuring instruments used in land surveying applications; learning their use and measuring methods |
| 2. | Learning the units used in surveying and engineering and to be able to make unit conversions |
| 3. | Gaining knowledge about applications such as leveling, tacheometry, trigonometric leveling, layout surveys etc. |
| 4. | Learn to make calculations related to azimuth, bearing and coordinates; area and volume calculation methods. |
