Objectives of the Course

The presentation of laboratory and methods of instrumentation in electricity and magnetism. To teach experimenting on electric and magnetic fields. To show the connection between theory and experiments in electricity and magnetism.

Course Content

Electric field, Ohm's law, Wheatstone bridge, Magnetic field, Biot-Savart law, Ampere Law, Faraday law, Direct and Alternating current circuits.

Learning Outcomes
1.Can define and calculate the Coulomb force for charged systems.
2.Can relate electric current and magnetic field to each other.
3.Can apply Biot-savart and Ampere's laws.
4.Can set up and analyze direct and alternating current circuits.
5.Can describe the relationship between electric field and electrical potential.
6.Can interpret data obtained from experiments and report the results.
