Objectives of the Course

To introduce the meaning, historical, philosophical and pedagogical foundations of social studies

Course Content

"Social sciences" and "social studies" concepts, knowledge in social sciences, basic concepts of social sciences, social sciences and their relations with each other, social studies programs in the development of social the role of sciences, philosophical, educational and historical foundations of social studies teaching, social studies traditions.
