Objectives of the Course

First of all, the culture of citizenship is the leading value of modern society and in this direction to educate individuals who know rights and responsibilities. To be able to analyze the development of Turkish culture and to establish the basis of a healthy and happy society that is in harmony with global issues. To train individuals who know the state, the state, the functioning of the state, the constitution to which it belongs, and its responsibilities.

Course Content

Human and society, rules governing the life of society; democratic life in family, school and environment; state and state forms; the evolution of sovereignty in the historical process; basic rights and duties; constitution, constitutional institutions, constitutional life; Turkish state tradition, the basic nature and structure of the Republic of Turkey.
