From the creation of the map to the reproduction of the cartographic all stages (map-making technique) and to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for the use of the map. In order to benefit from maps effectively, to gain the ability to apply various methods and techniques on maps.
Basic concepts and definitions, World and Turkish mapping, Real projections (Normal, oblique, transversal, tangent and cut; plane, conical and cylindrical projections), Non-real projections, General characteristics of geodetic projections, Map construction stages, Generalization, Landforms (topographic) structure map, use of maps, reproduction of maps. Drawing elements, length, area on the map, slope calculations, principles of map preparation, topographic profile analysis, elevation profile, slope, slope analysis, application of the application types and graphics
