Objectives of the Course

It is aimed to develop skills and competence about the visual perception and design process, making two-and three-dimensional applications within the framework of the basic elements and principles of design.

Course Content

Elements and Principles of Art (Art Elements: Line, Color, Shape, Form, Texture, Value (Valor), interspaces (Espase), Principles of Art: Balance, Rhythm, Movement, Contrast, Unity, Emphasis, Case (Motif). Vehicle and the use of equipment, proper use of the technique, review examples of the artist.

1.To be able to recognize and express themselves in a visual way, and develop visual perception

6.To be able to develop fiction of observation, research to expand the selection, insight, understanding, finding the main character, simplification, separation-compound production, correction-completion, and solve the conversion, meaning the integration, visualization, and designing.
7.To be able to explain training routes, artistic trends, skills and abilities.

Weekly Detailed Course Contents
Week 1 - Theoretical
Review of the previous term, introduction to the course materials and equipment
Week 2 - Practice
ntroduction to Color. Light colors, pigment colors, color sense, Main, and intermediate colors, complementary colors. And the effects of the phenomenon of color, the color of the lecture notes to be read, Jose M. PORROMON, and Application of Color in Painting, Ercument Kalmuk, color harmony systems applications required to read books.
Week 3 - Practice
types of paints, patterns of use, describe characteristics, the examination of specimens gouache paint, property, methods of use.
Week 4 - Theoretical
Gouache paint color scale application of the composition in black and white geometric shapes designed implementation (creation of forms).
Week 5 - Practice
Color contrasts, Color Wheel and the implementation of the mutual (lean), color contrast, color Circle provisions for application and colors to black and white values
Week 6 - Theoretical
Application of light and dark contrast. Geometric or free ways to break down the color of the surface light-dark contrast and color, made of six forms creation application.
Week 7 - Practice
Hot-Cold Color Contrast and Practice.he same image to form a separate study of hot and cold color harmony.
Week 8 - Theoretical
Color research Study (natural and artificial objects) Study of deterioration in the reorganization of work (Bash-combine)made the application Preparation of equipments exam
Week 9 - Theoretical
Color Harmony: Observational study with a concrete composition or a particular artistic product (picture) using a single color or two color-operation of three-color harmony. (Still-life testing on the pictures). Harmony systems proposed colors of the Book.
Week 10 - Theoretical
Completion of the study. Giving information about the theoretical three-dimensional design.
Week 11 - Practice

Week 12 - Theoretical
three-dimensional works-completion-preparation for exhibition
Week 13 - Practice
Evaluation of studies in the period, Lino-cut application.
Week 14 - Practice
Preparation of works for exhibition
