Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide the students with the knowledge about the field education at the primary and secondary level.

Course Content

Various techniques and applications that will be used by the students who are learning to make applications with different techniques and materials by taking basic art and elective art workshop courses and teaching them with applications that can develop creativity in teaching; studies on interdisciplinary and intercultural artistic practices by associating the contemporary artistic approaches by taking into account the artistic development characteristics of elementary and secondary school students.

Week 1 - Theoretical
Introduction to students: importance and scope of the course, introduction of tools and materials to be used
Week 2 - Theoretical
Light, shadow work. Investigation of light tonal value relationship.
Week 3 - Theoretical
Fund, form relation, composition study.
Week 4 - Theoretical
Composition study with geometric forms.
Week 5 - Theoretical
Paper material applications.
Week 6 - Theoretical
Art technologies, material knowledge, the importance of technical and applied method knowledge
Week 7 - Theoretical
Design and implementation of a composition using a combination of Dot, Line, Stain (technical expression).
Week 8 - Theoretical
Transparent and covering paint techniques and applications. MİD-TERM EXAM
Week 9 - Theoretical
Creating a black-and-white composition by combining it with ready-made images (Collage)
Week 10 - Theoretical
Three-dimensional applications, ceramic sludge and techniques.

Study of composition using light-dark contrast.
