Objectives of the Course

The course aims to teach the basic information and terminology of calliiography.The learners will be able to write appropriately , artistically and learn basic exercises.

Course Content

The concept of calliography, writing beautifully and writing techniques, big basic letters, small basic letters, italic big letters and their ways of writing, small italic letters and their ways of writing, writing numbers and symbols, writing side by side, italic and vertical way by big and small letters, writing texts using these ways, various decorative,antique… writings, applications and appropriate writing applications. a) text hand b) Artistic writing applications c) Handwriting exercises

Learning Outcomes
1.Acquires basic theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in writing as a communicative and graphic application area.
2.Comprehends primary education (primary school) cursive handwriting skills.
3.Realizes calligraphic writing skills.
4.Learns about how to teach and practice italic writing and make preparatory work, hand exercises, how to write large and small letters and numbers.
5.Discusses the place and importance of signature in our daily lives, understands the importance of signature.
6.Acquires basic skills in calligraphic writing as a result of manual exercises, and writing applications.
