Objectives of the Course

Understanding the historical background of the development of Turkish Art spread throughout Central Asia and Anatolia.

Weeks Ottoman Miniature Art, western influences in miniature art, mural painting 8. Weeks Maturity Period of Ottoman Architecture: Mimar Sinan, Last Period Ottoman Architecture 9. Week Visa 10. Week Beginning of Turkish Painting in the Western sense, art education in military and civil schools, Primitives 11. 1.Explain the formation and development processes of Turkish Art in a cause and effect relationship.
2.Can explain Turkish art and works of art from the beginning to the end of the Ottoman period.
3.Türk sanatını dönemsel ve bölgesel üslup farklıları açsından inceleyerek değerlendirebilir.
4.Can explain the concepts of Turkish plastic art.
5.Can explain the basic features of Turkish plastic art by periods.
6.Can evaluate Turkish plastic art by considering all political, social, religious, economic and artistic dimensions of the period.
