The aim of this course is to enable students to use their voices correctly, healthily and effectively by recognizing the structure of the human voice. The basic elements of the voice such as correct breathing, articulation, resonance, emphasis and intonation are examined theoretically; and it is aimed for students to use their voices as an effective communication tool in their individual, academic and professional lives. In addition, the relationship between voice production through speech and singing technique is also addressed at the level of awareness.
In this course, topics such as the production of the human voice, phonetic structure, diction principles, correct use of breath, articulation and resonance systems are discussed at a theoretical level. The effective, natural and sustainable use of the voice in speech is emphasized. It is emphasized that diction is not limited to speech but is directly related to vocal health. The course aims to develop awareness of the conscious use of the voice in every profession.
