Objectives of the Course

Singing (or performing) selected sound music from Turkey and from the world, using correct techniques and voice effectively at artistic level.

Course Content

Practical studies aiming to make the coordination work as a positive habit for the correct / beautiful / effective use of voice during speaking and singing; exercises appropriate to the individual voice characteristics of students (5, 6, 8, arpeggio and legato and staccato exercises with hopping sounds); the knowledge and skills related to performing the technical and musical analysis before practicing the exercises; in accordance with the individual characteristics of sound, technical studies related to natural and easy to make tone transitions, application of these techniques in exercises and works; resonance development studies; sentence-enhancing musical expression, expression, intensity studies; a vocal voice composed of sufficient national and international works (folk songs, lied, arie antiche, aria, etc.) to use its sound effectively and efficiently; sound width, timbre feature and technical and musical level appropriate vocalization / interpretation activities planning and implementation.
