Objectives of the Course

To be able to recognize the characteristics of baglama, to be able to perform folk melodies easily, to be able to use baglama in school music education.

Course Content

General introduction of Baglama instrument which is widely used in our country. To teach the right and left hand holding with simple exercises. Teaching simple and simple melodies. Teaching the other makams starting from the hüseyni and uşşak melodies which are used in folk music. Teaching the melodies used in school music.

Learning Outcomes
1. Knows the binding family, knows the techniques of work.
2.Analyzes the works according to their level, form, multi-vocalization, dynamic terms and sonorite according to their characteristics.
3.He can accompany school songs and folk songs and perform chamber music with baglama.
4.Compares the discipline of his instrument with different disciplines and other art fields and can transfer knowledge in this direction.
5.He can teach his instrument repertoire from easy to difficult and can do group works.

2 Teaching basic notation and signs on baglama.

3- Basic picking directions on baglama.
Week 4 - Theoretical
4 Name of freths and playing positions on baglama.
Week 5 - Theoretical
5 Working basic etudes and starting easy folk songs.(Süt içtim Dilim Yandı)

6 Working on the folk song called "Maçka Yolları".
Week 7 - Theoretical
7 Working on the folk song called "Ayşemin yeşil sandığı".
Week 8 - Theoretical
8 Etude work and working on the folk song called "Bilmem şu feleğin". (Mid-term Exam)
