The course aims to inform about music from the beginning up to the present in Turkey and in the world, its historical development, periods, trends and music history by listening to some samples from the world and Turkish music.
Music culture and the place of music history in education, basic concepts of music history, antiquity civilizations, Middle Ages, Gotic Age, Renaissance, and Baroc periods and their musical specialties and selected works
