Objectives of the Course

To gain the knowledge of folk music to be used in music education.

Course Content

To teach and introduce the makams, methods, instruments and their local characteristics used in Tradidional Turkish Folk Music. Solfege and lyrics of the folk songs in various procedures and makams and repertoire studies in accordance with school music.
