This course aims to describe and implement maternal and child health, common health problems in childhood and ways to prevent them, and basic first aid practices.
Definition of mother-child health, the state of child health in our country and in the world, child development in the womb, the effects of diseases and accidents during pregnancy on the development of the child, infectious diseases seen in children, treatment methods and ways of prevention, vaccines, definition of first aid, 6 T rule, Heimlich maneuver, shock position, coma position, fracture-dislocation, burn, injury, insect bite, poisoning, swallowing a foreign object, drowning, etc. First aid to be given in such situations.
