Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide the basic concepts and principles of astronomy and formation of the universe.

Course Content

Meaning of astronomy, basic concepts, astronomical units; branches of astronomy, historical development; the contributions of different civilizations to astronomy, the tools used in astronomy; Solar system, solar system models from the past, world, moon and sun movements; Constellation of the universe and the formation of the universe and the past universe models, space technology, and the reflection of everyday life in the Keppler laws, time-calendar-seasons, elements of the solar system, stars, stars as a star, sky coordinate system, constellations, galaxies, galaxy galaxy .
