Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to teach the profile and decoration drawing of terracotta artifacts, which are one of the important groups of finds encountered in archeology and excavations.

Course Content

To demonstrate in practice the cross-sectional, profile and decorative drawings of pieces such as ceramics, weights, spindle whorls, preserved in pieces or in full.

Learning Outcomes
1.Recognizing and identifying ancient pottery, weight and spindle whorl forms
2.Ability to draw profiles and sections of full containers
3.To be able to transfer the pattern on the pottery to the drawing.
4.Ability to draw weights and spindle whorls
5.To be able to realize the technical drawing of the pottery by the different tools.
