Objectives of the Course

The examination from the Republic of the Roman portrait, evaluate from starting Augustus of the Imperial portrait, portrait types, features, fashion and style is to describe the reflection of the civil and public sphere.

Course Content

The starting from the Republic of the Roman portrait, evaluates technical aspects to be addressed in chronological style, to reveal the factors determining the development of styles this period.
