Objectives of the Course

To establish a scientific basis for understanding carbon compounds, to learn the methods of obtaining functional groups and their chemical behavior.

Course Content

IUPAC Nomenclature and functional groups, flowing on, isomers: classification and nomenclature, alkenes and alkyenes, alkyl halides, alkenes, aromatic compounds, alcohols, ethers and phenols, aldehydes and ketones, carboxylic acids and they derivatives, amines, natural biological molecules: carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids, vitamins
