Objectives of the Course

This course offers a comprehensive understanding of the biology, life cycles, evolutionary relationships, and ecological impacts of various parasites. Students learn about the effects of parasites on human health, their modes of transmission, and control strategies. Additionally, by examining laboratory techniques used in the diagnosis of parasites and current research in this field, students enhance their theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

Course Content

This course aims to provide students with the knowledge to identify various types of parasites, understand their life cycles, assess their impacts on human and animal health, and learn about the prevention and treatment of parasitic diseases. The course offers fundamental information on how parasites live, reproduce, and cause diseases within the body, helping students grasp the basic concepts related to parasites. Additionally, it covers topics such as the life cycle, epidemiology, and control methods of parasites, enabling students to understand the mechanisms of parasite disease transmission and develop effective strategies for their prevention and control.
