Objectives of the Course

This course aims to instruct learners the core knowledge of statistics

Course Content

Basic concepts and definition of statistics, data collection, classification, summarization, and graphics, descriptive statistics: measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode, geometric mean, harmonic mean) and measures of variability (range, mean deviation, variance, standard deviation, coefficient of variation), correlation and regression, statistical distributions and sampling distributions, confidence intervals, interval estimates, hypothesis testing, z-distribution, Student's t-distribution, chi-square distribution.

8.To be able to apply hypothesis tests, z-distribution, Student's t-distribution, and chi-square distribution
