Objectives of the Course

The main purpose of this course is to examine the development of number and figure concepts from the emergence of these concepts

Course Content

Mathematics in ancient times, number screenings, lengths and calendars. The development of mathematics in former east: Egypt, Mesopotamia, China and India. Mathematics in ancient Greece:The mathematics which has been made Thales, Pisagor, Euclidean, Archimed, Apoollonius, Eudoxus etc timely. After the Greek society system had collapsed, mathematics in former east. The beginnings in western europe. Mathematics in XVIIth and XVIIIth century
