Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to introduce women oriented development paradigm that improved as an alternative way to modernist-capitalist development approach having masculine characteristics and centred on economic development. Another purpose is to evaluate women’s labour both in domestic reproduction and production processes at outside with various aspects. To examine in neo-liberal globalization era, with adopting export oriented industrialization process, the informalization women’s labour and their unsecured working conditions.

Modernist Development Paradigm, Neo-Liberal Development Paradigm, Incorporating Women into development process, Women’s unpaid domestic labour, Women’s labour in the frame of different industrialization process, The informalization of women’s labour, Women’s entrepreneurship.
