Objectives of the Course

To have knowledge about the concept of narrative, the history of narratology, the elements of narrative and analyze narrative texts according to appropriate criteria

Learning Outcomes

1.	Learning the scope and history of narratology
2.	Learning about the concept of narrative, criteria for narrativity, and the distinction between real and fictional narratives
3.	Learning the prominent topics and concepts of narratology such as the distinction between mimesis and diegesis, the distinction between story and discourse, the communication model, narrative levels, and metalepsis.
4.	To be familiar with prominent names and studies in narratology and to have basic literature knowledge of narratology.
5.	To be able to analyze narrative texts according to various theoretical criteria.
