Objectives of the Course

To carry out applied studies on aruz meter, verse forms and verse types in Old Turkish literature and sample texts on the sources of Old Turkish literature.

Course Content

In Old Turkish literature, aruz meter, verse forms and verse types and the sources of Old Turkish literature, historical and legendary figures in Divan poetry, stories of the prophets, entertainment life and war in Divan poetry, nature in Divan poetry, reflections of daily life, Quran and hadiths in Divan poetry. utilization.
