To make collections with reference to Turkish folk literature; to present these collections and to make evaluations.
Compilations are field studies of folk literature studies. These field studies enable practical learning of folk culture. Compiling, presenting and evaluating the compilations based on the knowledge gained in the field of Turkish Folk Literature teaches the student studying folk literature to provide data from the field

| 1. | To be able to acquire new knowledge, concepts about Turkish folk literature within the area of collections and to gain an insight about understanding new types of knowledge and concepts |
| 2. | To be able to make use of sources about new sources regarding collections and to gain abilities to use these sources within the framework of scientific criteria. |
| 3. | To be able to classify, analyze, criticize, interpret the knowledge about the Turkish folk narrative in the world of knowledge and ideas. |
