To discuss the Anatolian Seljuk, Emirates and Ottoman period ceramic and tile art , together with examples of the period ranging from a new program and decorative motifs, the general features of the Anatolian ceramic art, and is intended to grip the line of development.
In this course, the civil and religious structures of the Anatolian Seljuk tiles in rich decoration form, construction and decorative techniques will be discussed. Similarities and differences will be discussed with the Iranian pottery. Likewise, Emirates and the new tile decoration techniques in the early Ottoman period, and the development and the general features of Ottoman Iznik, Kütahya and Çanakkale ceramics will be discussed in terms of contributions to the Turkish-Islamic ceramics in detail
