Objectives of the Course

To examine the works produced in the field of painting, sculpture and architecture during the Renaissance period by taking into account the historical, social and intellectual developments of the period they belong to. Information about Mannerism are given and the works of the representatives of this art are examined.

Course Content

The Renaissance Period architecture and sculpture, the Renaissance Art apart from Italy (The 16th century art in northern Europe) and the Mannerism will be explained.
